Skip the city, head straight to the forest
Shamshabad, south of central Hyderabad, is best known as the location of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. That position is exactly what makes this pickup point useful in a way none of our other Anantagiri Hills routes are: since the hills sit southwest near Vikarabad, a traveller landing at the airport — or based near it — can head there directly without driving into the city centre at all.
This pickup can avoid central Hyderabad entirely and provides a direct approach toward Anantagiri Hills, generally under two hours. Once there, the draws are the same as elsewhere: coffee plantations, trekking trails, the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy cave temple, and the source of the Musi River.
Because a good share of bookings here start right after a flight lands, share your flight number and expected arrival time when booking — pickup timing can be adjusted if the flight runs late.
